Cris has over thirty years of nursing experience and is RAC-CT certified. With a diverse background, Cris has worked in many areas within healthcare, including skilled nursing, hospice, hospital, and home health. In addition, Cris served as a Director of Nursing and Regional Quality Manager for sixteen years in the long-term care industry and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Cris has also worked as an Acting Administrator for skilled nursing facilities in crisis, successfully assisting the facilities in addressing compliance challenges. Cris worked as an Interim Director of Nursing for 6 years in multiple states helping troubled facilities achieve better survey outcomes, star ratings, and improved quality of care.
Cris holds an Associate's degree in nursing from Scott Community College in Iowa and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator License in Montana, as well as national licensing. Cris received her Administration certificate at the University of Central Wisconsin.
Cris enjoys spending time with her spouse, three children, five grandchildren, and two cats. In her free time, she likes to spend time at the beach and enjoy the Southern California restaurant scene.
