Bonnie Yarger is an RN with a BSN and Masters in Education. Her 25+ years of extensive experience in healthcare, with a specialization in long-term care, encompasses most critical areas of this industry.  Bonnie has served as a Corporate Nurse Consultant working with the implementation of the Electronic Health Record for one of the largest national providers in skilled nursing and assisted living. She has also held positions as a Regional Nurse Consultant for three different healthcare companies providing clinical management and oversight for skilled nursing and assisted living communities as well as specialized Memory Care facilities. Assisting providers with achieving survey-readiness, as well as training and education of all levels of staffs, has been an ongoing thread of most of her work experience. Ongoing quality review of systems and processes, policies and procedures, as well as problem-solving for clinical issues, has enabled her to assist all levels of staff in maintaining excellent survey ratings and keeping focused on plans of correction. 

Bonnie also has experience in the risk management aspect of the industry, which has added to her overall success in being a resource for clinical staff. Her risk management work included education/training, providing resources for improvement of defined issues of concern, and presentations to corporate client groups. Completing risk management audits for various provider types throughout the U.S. has enabled Bonnie to seamlessly combine her clinical expertise with he regulatory knowledge.  

Bonnie is a native of Chicago, but has happily settled in one of the western sunshine states and enjoys the outdoors, cooking and baking for friends and family, and seeing as many new movies as time permits.
